On an afternoon walk in Newport Beach, a pair of ridiculous glasses, a fear of sharks, and the laughter of a child became an unexpected lesson about fear, self-consciousness, and learning to enjoy the moment you've been given.

This once purple chair carried me through some of the hardest decisions of my life and into sacred early mornings of prayer, grief, and truth. This is a small piece of that story.
